Wishbone, I think, is abosolutely the best kids show ever made for teaching books, and definitely one of THE best educational shows. That show was my life when I was little. I have about 10 episodes now thanks to the licensed VHS and DVDs. My mom and I joke that Joe (that was Wishbone's owner, who I had a crush on ) and Andy Roddick, the tennis player, look quite a lot alike. We aren't sure how Joe got so good when he was wasting soo much time following Wishbone, Sam, and David around everwhere!
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I LOOOOVED Wishbone... and I would so love to have it on DVD! That show was amazingly educational. I am sorry to say I haven't quite gotten to reading all of the books that they did their 40-50 episodes on, but knowing the general synopsis of the books, thanks to WISHBONE!, has helped me countless times! Wishbone has helped me immensely in my English classes, mythology class... and in art history... and SO many other times during middle school, high school, and even university!

Thank you, wishbone! [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

(oh, and I was only in 6th grade and not boy crazy in the least at that time, but regardless I always thought Joe was pretty cute. )
